Admin API	Shopify's API for store data (use GraphQL)
App Bridge	JS library connecting your embedded iframe to Shopify Admin
App proxy	A storefront URL (/apps/your-app/...) that Shopify forwards to your server
App version	A snapshot of config + extensions created by shopify app deploy
Built for Shopify (BFS)	Quality badge with performance, design and integration requirements
Dev Dashboard	Where you create apps and dev stores (successor to Partner Dashboard app management)
Dev store	Free test store; test charges only
Embedded app	App UI rendered inside Shopify Admin in an iframe
Expiring offline token	1-hour offline access token + rotating 90-day refresh token
Extension	Code uploaded to Shopify that runs in its surfaces
GID	Global ID, e.g. gid://shopify/Order/123
Managed installation	Shopify handles install and scopes from your toml, with no OAuth redirect
Managed Pricing	Plans defined in the dashboard, with a plan page hosted by Shopify
Metafield / metaobject	Custom data on resources / custom content types
Offline vs online token	Shop-level (background) vs user-level (respects staff permissions)
